quick whats the code for 2nd gen if 1st gen is fd3s

 

FC would be one thing they're called...it's part of the VIN...oh, and by the way, it's the third gens that are FD's not first gens

 

1st gen 7x-85 - FB3S
2nd gen 86-92 - FC3S
3rd gen 92-95 (US) - FD3S

mazda 929 / cosmo luce - FH3S

 

uh, 1st gen is SA22C.

FB is just part of the VIN, not the chassis code.

 

79-80=sa22c
81-85=fb3s
86-92=fc3s
93-current=fd3s

haha, no, its wrong.

Just because they changed the vin number doesn't mean the chassis code changes.

If you order parts from Japan, all first gen parts are sold as SA22C, regardless of year.

Did the chassis code change between 88-89? no, 95-96? 98-99? No, they were just minor model upgrades.

believe whatever you want to believe, but dont misinform people.
