It depends on the manufacturer and turbo line. And most of the time you don't need to know what they mean only if they are the right type of turbo for your car. I think a T28 is tiny if I am thinking of the right turbo line, correct me if I am wrong.
One of the most popular turbo lines for FC's is the TO4 series's To4B and To4E are some of the ones I have seen people use. The more popular To4B is the TO4S(60-1)
