What to do with the T2 engine while its out.
I'm obviously going to change the apex seals, any particualr brand or anything to go with? What else should I do while the engines out, any junk yard turbo's I can get that are bigger and will work? ( turbocoupe tbird? ) What about a bigger IC? Throw some stuff at me, I've already bought everything I need for $400 and am well under what I want to spend in it.

Light flywheel. Get a racing beat catalog and READ IT!
Get new mounts, clean your injectors, clean and flush your oil cooler and radiator. Change all your hoses

Theyll show you what size to port your ports to.
I read an article in SCC about junkyard turbos, and theyre all too small, except some TT ones, but theyd be too complicated. If you really want some junkyard finds, look for an intercooler, small NPR, or Starion. After that you could do a compressor upgrade for a decent amount. If you have a S4, you could upgrade to a S5 turbo. The Turbocoupe turbo is way too small, even for a N/A. Im almost posative its a T4, or even smaller a T3. Id suggest doing cheap, good mods. Mainly porting your wastegate, intake, and housings.
