what to do with the stock oil sending unit hole?

so i searched for this thread. https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...l+sending+unit

REted says "The Mazda OEM oil pressure gauge is 1/8"BSP-28 - it's very close to the aftermarket 1/8"NPT-27."

sooo, what is 1/8"BSP-28? is this something i can get at home depot? i just wanna plug up the stock location of the sending unit because my stock one is leaking and i have one of those RB oil filter blocks.

thanks for the help.

BSP = British Standard Pipe
It's the metric equivalent to tapered NPT = National Pipe Thread.

Why do you need to plug the hole?
Why not leave the stock oil pressure sensor in there to keep it from leaking?
If you know you're not going to use it again, you can shove a 1/8"NPT plug in there...
