What to do with my RB downpipe? (the way it looks)

Ok, ive got this great 3 inch downpipe, but im not sure what I should do with it. Some idiot tried to spray paint it blue, which is chipping everywhere now....Im pretty damn sure it gets too hot to get nickel plated. Could I get it powdercoated? I think im going to do all my engine bay clean up when I pull the engine soon. My priority is to get everything looking good while the engine is out, cause its a bitch to do when its in.

get header wrapping from summit racing. its functional, and looks better than that paint im sure. it should keep all that exaust heat in the exaust where it belongs.

Ceramic Coating also works really well, but I think I too will go with Thermowrap on mine as well.

why would header wrapping eat up your downpipe? ive seen lots of cars w/ wrapped down pipes, i dont see the problem. i was planning on wrapping mine when i get it, if its so bad, i wont, but give me a reason.

Mine is wrapped, looks good and works good. I have never heard of it eating away at your pipes, please explain.

Maybe the wraps hold moisture when they get wet? I dunno, guess I'll wait for the answer too....

Yeah, I've heard they hold in moisture and promote rusting. I personally wouldn't worry about it too much. I have never heard of somebody's headers actually rusting all the way through due to header wrap.
