well you can follow the engine removal procedure in the Haynes and FSM. but basically you'll have to drop the motor mounts, disconnect A/C and P/S, unplug the engine harness, and remove the radiator and most of the coolant hoses. if you pull the transmission out you'll need to drop the driveshaft.

then depending on what the engine builder wants, you'll have to tear the engine down to the shortblock. so that means pulling the manifolds, OMP, waterpump, and other associated stuff. only thing that would be left is the front cover and the stack of housings, along with the oil pan

you will need to be VERY organized for this. everything has to be bagged and labeled or you will be hating life when it comes time to put things together. Put all the bolts back into the original holes if possible and thread or ziptie them in position because a lot of bolts have to go in specific places. Other parts will have to be bagged and labeled if you can't put them back into their original position.

if you go slowly and take twice as long to remove/teardown the engine, it will go back together 5 times faster. seriously. you won't be hunting for anything or forgetting where things go.

Not to be rude, but if you have to ask, either have someone who's done it before help (more fun with company anyhow) or pay someone to do it. Lots of rotorheads down in socal, i'm sure someone would be willing to help you out and that way you'll gain a solid knowledge base for all the wrenching you'll be doing now that you own a rotary. Have fun and when in doubt, lable everything you unplug or disconnect with a sharpie and some masking tape.
