What to do with HOSE from ACV to Air Pump?

What to do with HOSE from ACV to Air Pump?
I removed my air pump already and the hose that connects the ACV to the air pump, what should I do with it? It sorta has a small sucking action when the car is idling, then it starts pushing out air when I really REV up the engine, what the heck is that all about? Anyways, should I PLUG up this hose with like a big WHEEL nut or cork?
