So I have 2 87 Turbo II's. One has a bad engine (bad water seal) and a good body, the other has a good engine and a not-as-good body. So I'm gonna swap enignes out and I'm just wondering if there's anything I should go ahead and do while I have the engines out. I'm already thinking I'll port the wastegate on whatever turbo goes in the good car. Is there anything else i should think about doing?

 

oil baffle plate, clean and rewrap your wireing harness(s) clean up the block, remove rust from the bay,

 

and of course, clean the **** out of everything
