What is the difference between the Turbo & NA RB pre-silencers?

I know that the turbo one doesn't have a backpressure sensing tube, which is good because I don't need it for my 6-port anyway - I am using my air pump to actuate my 6-port. So, will the turbo pre-silencer work on my NA without any problem?

Question 6-port

How do you make your air pump run your 6-ports?

from what i remember after taking my exhaust back from Ridge Tech...

the turbo's was basically a pipe with fittings for the mounts

the NA's have the fittings and a little 'U' shaped pipe that comes off of it.

http://www.racingbeat.com/FRmazda2.htm Their site implies that the only difference is the backpressure tube for the N/A. I looked at the above site under exaust components, turbo 86-92.

Both presilencers are the same length.

So I guess the only difference between them is the backpressure tube. What do you guys think, which one is louder, the main cat or the silencer?
