if you aren't worried about weather, how bout a cf replacement that looks like a bunch of shades over and over that i've seen on some old mustangs and daytona's (snap-on over the glass, i assume). sun won't come in, but you can still see out the back. of course, you've now got a hole going into your car, but it's just an idea...

...an idea im not interested in this particular concept, but i thought i'd throw this out there as a possibility

I would def pay for a dash made out of CF not an OEM Model, but one that would result in a little more room, have cup holders... the works!!

I'd be interested in a CAI kit that would fit decently and actually provide results.

Most (realistic) things people are posting are already available. Truth is the FC has a pretty decent aftermarket support if you know where to look.

why does everyone have a hard-on for carbon fiber?

Its a great material due to its weight and strength, but i don't think id ever use it for interior components, hell i was thinking about doing a CF hood but painting it.

I just think its way to overdone and kind of ricerish.

Agreed...with most things that people want to replace in CF on the interior being made originally of plastic, how much weight does one expect to save? If you want interior customizations, I say go FG...easier to paint, much cheaper to create parts, and it's very easy to do yourself (with a little experimentation).

Now, a full-out CF body kit will probably save you quite a bit of weight, but the cost of that would be insane.

Yeah carbon fiber replacement panels would reduce weight, but skirts and **** are just going to add weight.

Lets get off the Cf Full body kit b4 Chaotic_FC barges in.

Im not a fan of CF....
It doesnt look that great...
And Id have to sell my entire car, just to get a real carbon hood. lol
Yeah it weighs less. but if you gotta be that silly to be faster. Run drag radials, or a bigger snail, or something. Cause a CF hood wont drop your 1/4 times by more then like... 0.0001 second

I don't care about CF, I'm just sick and tired of seeing parts of my interior bust when I look at it wrong.

A complete engine and dash harness that would have the stock ecu connections, microtech, haltech, megasquirt, and any other ems connection you would like. So no matter what you went with you would have 1 a brand new harness to get rid of the 20yr old POS harness and 2 the choice of any ems you wanted with no wirring BS to deal with. Also would have the stock afm or a map sensor connections too for obvious reasons.

plus if u blow your motor just swap to stock ecu and another motor and keep drivin lol

Er...nevermind.

My wish list:
Manual transmission that can handle 1,000hp and 10,000RPM's
"Dowel kit"
Dry sump "kit"
Polyurethane engine / trans / difff mounts - not that bolt through a slab of plastic / aluminum ****
Rear diff support

Complete left columb replacement with guage pods, not snap-ons =).
+1 on afm, or actually just get rid of the flap unit all together.
