what could be causing this?

I have an S5 GTU N/A and it runs fine for being bone stock (I got it from a coworker for FREE hundred), except that when it has been cold started it idles with a sort of "cough". Every one or two seconds exactly, it coughs. What could be causong this?

I was thinking it might be the plugs/wires, and I am also going to be sending my injectors in to get cleaned/serviced.

Yeah, I am her favorite employee, and she remembers when I had my 91 FC. In a day full of lost races and bad decisions I traded it in on a Silverado. Needless to say I went into a bout of depression for 6 months. She told me that if she ever got rid of her FC, I was going to be the first in line. So, yeah it was Free hundred.
