What is this computer for? Next to ECU

So here is a picture. I don't have this. Is it for ABS? Auto tranny? Just curious, my t2 build is nearing completion. Thanks.

That was my thought, the FSM doesn't show location though, so I wasn't sure.

Okay, verified that is the ABS computer. I guess I will start looking for one. At least I can start the vehicle without it.
