What colours are the reverse switch wires at the gearbox?
Is it, red and black/yellow
Or is it the green pair?
Or is it the blue pair?
I thought it was the red... because i thought the blue was neutral and the green was 5th gear...
but now im not sure..

Nevermind guys.. Found my problem after a few mins of searching..
It is the red/green black/yellow wires.
Now I just gotta find a new source of power for my black/yellow wire since my main relay is now disappeared!
And I was told all the main relay powers is the ECU....

grab the power from the original reverse light switch. It will be come down off the driverside engine bay towards the tranny, near the starter.
Edit: Nevermind, I'm thinking I ran new wire too for some reason.

White FC- If you've made the main relay "disappear", you will also have to find power sources for your injectors, both igniter/ coil assemblies, the relief, switching, EGR, port air, split air, and pressure regulator control solenoids, the BAC valve, and the air bypass relay and solenoid valves (and the ECU you already know about)...Unless, of course, most of these items have "disappeared" also...
For future reference to anyone that wants to know (S4 NA tranny):
*Colors are the tranny side of the wiring, not the harness wires that connect to them...
1) red wires with bullet connectors- reverse switch
2) green/black wires- 5th/ rev switch (no switch continuity in 5th, continuity in all other gears)
3) blue wires- neutral switch (continuity in neutral, all other shifter positions no continuity)
Just in case you guys need to check out your tranny switches while you have it out for a clutch change, rebuild, etc...(you can also read them out from the ECU with the tranny still in car)

Well the injectors are still there, they're getting their power from a relay that gets its power from the stater (and switched on from ignition obviously..)
Coils (using a S2/3 electronic dissy) get theirs from 'inside' the car via a relay of course.
Basically the only wires going into the engine bay are for:
-Injectors/TPS/water temp/air temp/aux out/alternator in one custom loom (I'm using a microtech).
-Wipers motor/gearbox switch(s)/oil pressure/level(stock and not stock ones) in another loom i made
-Lights/retractors/horn in a seperate custom loom.
and yeah thats about it..
_MUCH_ cleaner than stock (also not QUITE as functional.. but hey i'm sure i've taken out at least 20kg's of wires... )
And geez i tell ya guys, there are some DODGY crimping jobs done my mazda in the harness... some of mine literally just broke when i touched them..
I highly recomend rewireing your car if you have nothing to do for a few months of sundays..
