Could people list off the clutches they have. And what they recomend. Particularly for a NA FC.

An NA FC has between 146 and 500 horsepower, and can be used as a street car, autocross car, road race car, drag race car, or drift car. If you do not list your specific application then you will get very diverse and misleading answers to your post.

My guess, from his last post, is that it's pretty much stock as he didn't seem very familiar with rotaries or possibly even other basic car mechanics.

ACT makes some very nice aftermarket units, but hell for stock the OEM really isn't too bad.

I would use a common street to race clutch or another bone stock that is what I have used in my rx-7 for the past 4years and it has been dependable as hell. But like what ifryrice said the stock grabs like a beast for being a stock unit.
what type of driving are you doing race, drag, or daily driver?

Oh well I am going to be doing autocross fairly soon. For the moment though, all I do is drag race. I have a few modifications like headers, presilencer, y-pipe, and mufflers. Thats about it.

I believe stock would suffice.

I have a Rotary Performance bonez street clutch pressure plate, lightweight steel flywheel and counterweight for the s5 with 20K on it for 300.00 if you are interested. I just swapped my 89 vert to a TII setup and could not use this clutch setup.

Let me know .

Light - is this for your '90? Then all you'd need is a clutch disk, release bearing (use a turbo one), pilot bearing and pilot bearing seal. You should also change your rear engine seal since your flywheel is coming off. Check tranny input bearing and front tranny seal (for leaks) and release fork pivot ball.

Do drain the tranny oil before removing it or it'll leak through the driveshaft hole. Little **** like that is good to remember.

edit: the NA and TII clutch release bearings are interchangeable - but the flywheel, clutch press plate and disk are not. Just to clarify.

Like everyone said..just buy a stock clutch kit from Kragen..It'll be crazy cheap compared to other options and should come with the clutch disc, pressure plate, and alignment tool...some come with a pilot bearing and throw out bearing (release bearing) which you'll want to replace while you've got stuff taken off.
