What can I remove and still be legal??

I was going to do a little trimming up of my fc this weekend, and I was just wondering what things I can or cant remove to still stay emissions or inspection legal. MY A/C is coming out, along with the sound deadining stuff, I know I cant block the EGR or anything, and I like my power steering and it works well so thats staying too. Any other ideas of things I can remove or disable for some power increase and still stay legal?? Thanks.

Anything that can be unbolted is a potential weight saving, what you need to consider is what effect this will really have. Removing your sound deadening might remove about 0.5% from your cars weight, which you won't even notice, but it'll increase the noise in the car a lot! Is it really worth it? Nope. Instead of just looking at the weight of something you remove, think of the percentage reduction of the car's weight, and what effects it'll have when you're driving the car.
