what can i do w/ $5000??

ok, lets pretend i just found $5000 in spare change between my couch cushions; what can i do with it?

also, pretend i dont have an RX7 yet, so i would need to BUY one first, in good condition of course...

should i first buy an S4 or S5 T2?

after paying the average price to get a T2, what could i do w/ the left over money to make it go faster?

after doing all that stuff and spending the rest of the money to go faster, how fast could it end up being??

thanks guys
chris

PS; in real life, i already have a non turbo S4 running 15.2's w/ BPU, so i want faster with a turbo.

Find one thats blown and build it. That way it doesn't matter what year you have, you'll be buying new **** anyway.

is rebuilding the engine much more durable than buying an excellent condition t2?

are S4 turbos more durable than S5's?
im thinking cuz of the 2 different types of rotors, i think the S4 rotors are more durable, and can handle more boost and abuse. also, they have a mech OMP, so i can deep 6 that and run premix, and the computer wont throw a code. however, the S4 turbo doesnt have as great of a WG set up as the S5. but that wont matter if i go w/ a 60-1.

what if i get a T2 w/ a blown motor, then have a rebuilt street ported motor, then gasket matched intake, S5 turbo (to start with), isuzu NPR fmic, custom IC pipes (made by me, w/ mandrel bends), ACT street/strip organic clutch, Walbro 255 or supra TT pump, dyno tuned haltech, custom DP, MP, exhaust.

how does that sound?

thanks for the input
chris

PS; in reality, id have to SELL my s4 inorder to free up money. so i cant use the money freed up from my S4, to mod my s4...since it will be Gone.

Sink it all un IBM stock - currently trading at 83 and change, it's a sure winner to break 100 in any up-turn of the stock market.&nbsp It was trading at a high over 120 a few years ago before the stock market crash, but I bet that's not what you wanted to hear...

Well Why buying a blown T2 and get everything new?

1-Get a Jspec
2-Halltech
3-Complete T2 drivetrain

Sell your current engine & mods for new mods !

If it was my $$$ thats what I would do..............well after following Ted's advice !!

actually ted, thats a very interesting idea. is this the lowest their stock has been in a while or what?

i never really thought about that. but i bet i could make my money work for me, and then maybe i can step up to a Lexus SC300...and do a 2JZ-GTE swap. hehe.

the idea to sell my current set up and do a Jspec turbo drivetrain swap, is actually not too bad of an idea. my car is SUPER Light, no power accessory options, and could be even lighter w/ more weight reduction. the probelm is i have that CRAPPY base suspension...4 lug, single pot, solid rear rotors. good news is, no AAS.

is there anyplace i can get a Jspec front cut? then i can probably gank the whole front suspension too.

thanks guys
chris

btw, ted, did you get my email, i sent to your FC3S-pro address.

Might as well do a TII swap on a 4 lug car, since you have to change so much ****. Then buy a 5 lug front setup from me
