What can I do to pass emissions?

Hey, I got a 90 GTU and I cant make it pass emissions. I have tried 3 times already so its starting to cost some money. My exhaust of course isnt emissions legal, so I even put on a stock exhaust, that is leaking like a mutherf**ker, which should help to pass it, but anyways, three times and this is what my readings are.

Allowed My car
Hydrocarbons- 1.00 3.19
Carbon monoxide- 12.00 54.45
Nitrogen- 2.50 .27

So nitrogen I passed fine, but GC and CO I bombed. Car runs really good, only 86k original miles, but what can I do to pass or at least to cheat passing? Just wanna get it emissioned because after this I am putting in my J-spec and registering my car where I wont have to take emissions. Ideas?

Is NY the only place that has shady mechanics that will pass you for an extra $20?

hrmmm search???
1. change oil/filter .. plugs .. wires ..
2. get your car running lean as possible
3. hook your air pump to your cat via the split air pipe
4. go to auto zone and get some of that 'you pass or we pay' stuff.. follow the instructions on the bottle.
5. if all else fails, slip the tester a 50$ and wink at him.. not a sexual wink just a 'pass me before i start crying' wink
