just imagine. No sohc, dohc, tohc can keep up with that turbo turned way up to 1/3 psi!!!!!

come on guy, let's keep it real, you know you won't be using the stock ECU, you HAVE to go standalone and you don't really need a filter or AFM ( just a velocity stack)!!! filters are for "girlie men."

what car with what mods etc etc? A healthy 13b with all the bolt-ons with the car stripped can put u in the high 14s if you do it right. If you running a civic with swap you're looking at a 14 second car so thats prob why u lost. So get all the bolt ons adn then add some n2o and you should be good. but before u do that you might want to learn a few things about cars and tuning and all that jazz so you do it right the first time. Or u could just turbo it and and call it good.

i would honestly suggest you search the forum. You want to go out and "beat" other cars without first putting in the man hours it requires to make sure your car runs strong. search and search a lot.

N/A FC will have a hard time beating a dohc vtec motor.
An LS with bolt ons can be as fast, or faster than a stock B16a. A lot of Honda drivers suck, but if you encounter a good one, they can surprise you on how fast an LS can really be. In San Diego, where I live, there are hatches running 12's with 210WHP. Now OFF the line we have an advantage because of RWD, but on rolls, even a GSR hatch(with bolt on's) can smash on a Turbo FC if the driver is good.

But then again it all depends...good luck beating him.

Therz no way your going to win even with all the IHE mods or thicker plug wires dawg. I had an SOCH civic with just the minor bolt ons and I was making 213 bhp. You best leave the driving to the real men

Go my way and you should have 180+ flywheel, same power as stock turbo S4 for not a lot of money. Stock N/A S4 15.5 s@87 mph, stock S4 Turbo 14.6 s@93 mph. My list puts you in the high 14's if your a decent driver. the turbo would still have more TQ but the VDI would widen your power band if you don't already have it.

Next lighten the car and do suspension mods to help you launch.

+1 on LSD.

You should be at mid 14's by that point in theory.

If you put as much effort and $$$ on a NA FC as a civic\crx with a DOHC transplant, it won't be hard at all.

Lets see, 213 BHP would be about 171HP at the wheels (assuming a 20% drivetrain loss), on a SOCH with minor bolts on?!?!?

Sure as long as nitrous is counted a basic bolt on mod!
