ok guys i have an 87 turbo II and right now i have the turbo/manifold off (switching to an s5 unit), intercooler, and UIM are also off. what can i remove or add for cheap to gain some power, lose some weight, or make the vehicle run more efficiently. remember emmisions is not an issue i live in montana and no one cares!

make a test pipe for your main cat, about 10 bucks or less. 18" inches 2.5" diameter pipe and 2 flanges welded on, your done. adds a pretty noticeable differance. and since your main cat is off you theres no point in having the airpump on, take that off. you can run a dual belt alternator pulley for safety for the waterpump. you can make a larger and straighter turbo inlet duct for around 30 dollars.

and since you're ditching emmissions, follow Kevin's (from rotary ressurection) emissions removal writeup, and get rid of that rat's nest! It's awesome to have that much less **** in your engine bay, and I think I had about 20 bucks worth of parts into it.. The most expensive was the fuel inejctor rated fuel line.. that stuff is expensive!

gas?? Kidding, exhaust work isn't too expensive, and always a good choice.
