What can cause FC to run rich

My 87 RX7 is running rich and i was wondering if it could be the O2 sensor or what can be causing it to run rich....

They were tuned to run rich from the factory.

How rich are you talking? and how do you know it is rich?

you need to give more info about 'rich' and why you think it is that way. also there are a ton of problems that will throw error codes that the factory ecu's response to is to run rich and desrtoy your milage.

i'll third the "how do you know its rich" bit, but it can be a bunch of stuff.

02 sensor, if you're looking at an a/f meter, a failed or removed acv will do it too...
