what bushings to i get??

what bushings to i get??

anyone know where to get them cheaper, also

which ones do i get

if you go to http://www.mazdatrix.com/g4.htm

and scrool down theres one that say

SHIFTER BUSHINGS


(H) 79-95 (Upper)
and
(I) 84-95 (Lower)

so far in my 88 TII FC there is no bushings what so ever, so do i get them bouth or just one kind? if so i donno what to get

HELP!!!

get both of them, and as far as i know, you can't get them anywhere else cheaper, well with the exception of MazdaComp. But you'll need a racer # to buy from them. Some crazy dealer may have them cheaper, but that's unlikely.

The stock upper bushing is pretty soft, with two of the harder lower bushings the shifter feels much tighter.

The draw back is that someone wanting the finger soft snick of a honda sifting won't like the extra tightness of the shifter.

the one i have is a bit shabby, is it that important that its in good condition?? will it make it feel better? be better for the trans?

you do need the inner boot, it will make the shifter feel better and im sure its better for the trans but it will feel 100x better with all the bushings replaced in the shifter. a new boot would most likely tear in the not too distant future without the other ones. its what happened to me so just trying to save you some money if you buy all the parts at once.
