Question What brand of Fuel injectors do you like?

Im having a problem with my car and I think I have a leaking injector, so I want to ask what should i look for and what brand do you guys like. My car is a 87 T2. Is it bad to step up the stock 550cc secondarys to... let say 680cc without a fuel managment system? I was looking at 4 new RC 550cc injectors for $280. THats a great price for new injectors, but is this a case of "you get what you pay for" or are these desant injectors.

Well how about getting your injectors rebuilt? You can do that for around 60 dollars.

While not BAD upgrading your injectors will creat a rich condition which you will not be able to control without some form of fuel or engine managment. This will rob power from your car until you fix it with some tunning.

$60 to rebuild them? From where? RC wanted over $100 a piece to rebuild mine so I just let them keep them.

?

RC does a pretty incredible job of cleaning/rebuilding injectors. If you email me, I can send you a picture of my 680s before and after and its hard to believe they're the same. Also, im using 680s as my sig states and are flow rated at 710cc on stock ECU with no problems. However, I do notice it bog for a moment at lower RPM at WOT. Otherwise, they're great.

Edit- I was charged $25 per injector so 100 for all 4.

RC Engineering makes great injectors. I bought 550's from them and the price was good for those at about 108 I think per. But I think they charge too much for higher flowing injectors, ie 720's. I went with Greddy for my 720's and they work wonderfully. My experience with both these companies has been good. Except for the fact the Greddy's didn't come with O-rings, not a problem if your stock ones are still good. With mine we scrounged two goods out of the four.

Well im looking at buying new ones. Mine are stock and I dont think there any good with over 100,000 miles on them. Plus I dont have time for the turn around time, its my daily driver and i have to go to work.

Just go with the RC ones if they are that cheap. You can ask around anywhere and everyone trusts RC.
