very demanding. I heard good stuff about Green Stuff pads and Hawk pads. I'm going to go with Hawk HPS Pads after I get rid of my crap x-drilled slotted rotors.

Nothing to do with pads, but I found this paragraph on the power slot website.

I have heard people suggest dimpled rotors before for some reason, I never thought they would have a whole lot of performance gain and I think this just confirmed it.

I like my Hawk pads. Definite improvement over stock. They're a bit pricey (mine were $100 for all corners), but i'd say it's worth it. Here's a tip though: get the street/strip pads if it's your daily driver. The harder pads will wear out your rotors really fast and won't reap much benefit on the street as they would on the track.

Hawk HPS pads are the only pads to get for a street driven car. They have excellent bite, virtually not fade, and don't eat up rotors. Plus they aren't really that expensive, when you look at it over the life of the vehicle. I used to have EBC Greenstuff pads, but I wasn't as impressed with them. They are good pads, but nothing like the Hawks.

It all depends on the use. I use Porterfield R4 on the track and they're great. I've always just used OEM or some decent parts store pads on the street, including autocross and hard driving and have never had any problems with them. You really don't need special pads for street driving, and if you're finding them to be a limiting factor in street driving, then you need to slow down, because you're almost certainly doing something dangerous/illegal.

Definitely for street pads go with Hawk HPS or Porterfield R4S. Both are excellent pads for the street. Each of them has low dust accumulation, won't eat your rotors, are pretty quiet, and decently cheap with great performance.
