What is this bracket? (pics)

It's been a while since I did the teardown and now were butting her back together, but I can't remember what this bracket is for, and my dad and I cannot agree on where it's to. To me after looking at my printout of the parts list that it's for the smog pump, but my dad thinks it's for the alternator. It might have come off the waterpump. Please have mercy on me guys, This is my first time taking anything bigger than a starter apart, and my dad is a vet on engine rebuilds, but only for piston engines

well is it one the passenger or drivers side? passenger side would be smog pump, driver side is alt.

Easy one for me as mine broke (looks like that one did too!)....it's the air pump mounting bracket.
