BAC? It's been so long since I've had a stock car...

i dont remember exactly what goes there but i know there is a tiny pinhole the draws vaccum underneath that. they dont make a plate for that so someone must have modified a different plate to fit it. when i did mine i had to weld the little pinhole shut since there was no plate availible...

no, it's some wierd valve (that I think is only on S5s). It does the same thing as a BAC, but it's for the power steering instead of the AC.

(it bypasses a bit of air when you're turning the wheel so your idle says the same)

I found a plate for it, but I forget who made it.. that and the cold start coolant injector block off plates were hard to find.

hmm. thats interesting, are you sure? because my 87 TII had one and it dosent have power steering..

well damn I hope the bac valve has the same bolt hole pattern so I can just put that on when it comes in. I guess I may just have to modify whatever block off plate I already have.

it's called the ASV (air supply valve). That's what I thought it was for... maybe your car used to have power steering and was swapped.

remember to block off the hole on the intercooler that it goes to too.

Oh **** is that the ASV? 2751engineering has them and I had my finger on the trigger ready to buy it but I wasn't sure what it was. Oh well I used some jb weld. I'll see how that works
