what is the best ECU for the money?
As for cost, you can get a Haltech E6K for $800-1000 dollars complete and shipped now. I bought mine from Kris Kaminski at www.revpower.com.au and it came w/ all necessary sensors, a fully labeled wiring harness and rx-7 specific ignition hook-up info. Very easy to deal w/ and super fast shipping!
(edit) oops, forgot the ".au" in that address!

Ok, so, if I'm understanding this correctly. The mircortech makes a fine computer for a drag only car, and could POSSIBLY be made to run on the street, but not ideally.
Next year, I am planning on making a 1st gen or Rx3 drag car and wanted to do fuel injection. Right now, I have experience with Haltech, and I may just use my old E6K when and if I pick up an E11 (solely to control split timing on my 20B FC, if this rumor is true. Streetability would not be a concern as this car would see the road very infrequently... most likely just driven onto a trailer or from my house to the drag strip, which is about an hour from me, and no, I don't have to worry about emissions
) for my current car... but, a microtech would be acceptable for a drag car that was driven to the track? I'm not looking to go crazy with this drag car, but low 10s to mid 9s is my goal on her... I don't even have the car yet, so this is far off.
Yes or no. Mircrotech would be ok for this application if I don't have a spare E6k?
