I did a search and didn't find much about all the fc colors.
I'd like to get each year and model's colors please please....

the AE was "monochromatic white"
i think all blacks (or maybe just one series) were "triple black"
theres gotta be a list of em somewhere

 

I do not know all the years colors and all that. The only special one that I know of is the 88 anniversary edition turbo 2 model is white with black interior. The other colors are black, red, white, a dark charcoal gray, silver, a dark blue(which I have ), & gold Thats all I can think of. Seem to be more white ones than anything & then red. There have been posts on this so I know someone knows the specifics of the colors/years.

 

thanks for the replies, but I'd like an auctual list- the reason for this question was that I have a 'harbor blue' 89 gxl, and I wanted to know if there was ever a harbor blue turbo 2. I've seen an 87 blue turbo but it was a darker color than harbor blue.

I've never seen a maroon one ever. What color is the "claret"? Also what are the different blues for the series 5s? I swear I've seen a series 5 the same color as mine. But I really never knew there were that many colors.

Crap that explains why the junk yard fender I have doesn not totally match. My car is white, 1987 Noble white i guess, and the white fender came from an 86 which is Dover White I guess.

Oh well Im gonna repaint anyways when I get my settlement. Crystal white (or whatever is the whitest, least expensive, high quality paint)

crystal white is the best looking (comes on 10th AE's) and very bright and lasts longer as I hear.

The darker color is Brave Blue MC, that's what mine is

 

It turns a yellow shade over time. Look at Aaron Rinaca's freshly painted engine bay and how white it is compared to some 10th AE's.



My TII is deifnately getting painted the 10thAE white

My 88 GXL is the dark maroon metalic color. Hey Node, how many of them were made in this color for this year?

 

Claret is a maroon color. Yeah, I haven't seen too many, either.

1F Winning Silver Metallic was availble as mid year change (88.5) 01/88 production on (its what is on my 04/88 production date GTU).

 

My '87 TII is maroon, wanted white but couldn't find one. Seemed to be a lot of black ones around here when I bought mine ( in '91)

Sorry Node you're wrong. My car is an 87, gold color, And with the vin number it specifically says "color: Champagne" !!! my car is NOT Satin Gold. so :p it's Champagne! don't get upset or anything i'm just rubbing it in your face. Good job on everything else though.
