What air filter you got?
Sorry for the lame post, but that is where the process begins so I thought not only rate of flow and filtration but smooth with no buffeting.
I got a Purolater A44358 a while back and while it resembled the Purolator that came out, the new one didn't have the metal bracing. It just seemed flimsy and loose fitting as if it wouldn't seal up so great, but I can feel decent pressure over the inlet.
And since it seems I have an exhaust leak and you say they run rich anyway I may as well go for flow, but wish to avoid replacement air boxes and go with drop-ins.
My rides never felt any better with a KN and plus the cost as if its a hassle buying a new one vs cleaning it.
I like foam filters but the book wants paper and wouldn't mind changing it every year if it flows good and is a good quality piece.
I'm thinking to try a Fram. maybe they got good filters for air and just their oil ones aren't the greatest.
