what is an AIC power amp?

what is an AIC power amp?
I would like to start by saying I have searched and didn't find any info on this. I picked up an hks fcon and it came with the additional fuel controller and an AIC power amplifier. What is the power amp for?

I'm not 100% sure but I believe it is an amp for the injectors.

Now you need a massive bridgeport turbo setup to justify any auxiliary injectors
