I have Recaro Pole Position's in my car. The lowest part of the seat is maybe 1/2" off the floor (with carpet) using Recaro aluminum side brackets, and wedge engineering floor brackets that have been modified to hug the floor instead of sit 3" above it.

 

I am thinking of switching my seat as well. I plan on buying these Sparco style for $250 on Ebay

Does a Bride Zeta III Type L fit in the fc? I'm looking for a seat for my FC and trying to find the highest good quality seat that can fit in an FC. I'm very tall and skinny (6'3 and 155lb). There isn't anywhere in my area where I can try a Bride seat on. The shops here only have Sparcos and Recaros. I know the regular Zeta fits but I'm not sure about the larger Type L. From what I've read here it looks like the Memory Fab rail will be my best bet since I am don't have the skill and equipment to drill and weld my own rails. What do you guys think? Advice is very much appreciated.

 

I called Memory Fab and they don't make a super low rail for the FC wide enough to fit the Zeta III Type L ;(. They said they only have regular ones that will fit this setup. Would the standard ones make the seat sit a lot higher than the low ones or is the difference not that big?
Is anyone else having problems accessing Bride's USA website? If anyone knows their phone number can you please give it to me so I can at least call them?
