You need a 12vdc gauge that reads at least to 1700degF (927degC).

looks like Pineapple racing has the best EGT gauge for the money.

I don't know how much he was using them for tuning, but I know he was using it to demonstrate the cooling abilities of methanol injection.

I have the Pineapple racing EGT, although not installed yet. I am very impressed with the quality of the components- it is truly aircraft quality.

The EGT thermocouples are installed on a Greddy manifold- one of each exhaust outlet near the manifold flange.
