some models of the rx-7 didnt have a set of seats behind the driver and passenger seats, rather they had cargo bins. 2+2 just means you have 4 seats.

Yep, 2+2 is just an abbreviated way of saying 4 seater.

I use my back seats as storage bins anyway :P.

I would really prefer the bins, the seats are too small for anyone over 6 to sit comfortably in.

yeah my vin indicated mine is a 2+2 NA.

I haven't had a chance to tell them they are wrong on both counts and that they should adjust my premium so i am billed accordingly. i'll get around to it one of these days.

$700 for seats! LOL was he on crack at the time? I spent $100 for seats, belts, bolts, and carpet. When they are folded down its just as good as it was before (I've got an 86 base, they werent the normal "bins" because you had to lift up the carpet to get to them, they had pieces of wood covering the openings) but when they are up you can fit stuff in there too. Works fine for me.

i dont mind the seats in mine. if i get stuck hauling a drunk friend home i can sit them in one seat and put their legs across to the other side. when i dont have anyone in the back they make nice padded bins when folded down...
