Definitely Check the classifieds section on this forum, along with your region's section of the forum, to see if people might be selling stuff locally.

Ebay might be good, too. Retail places (not to badmouth either, of course) like Mazdatrix and Speedmachine can get expensive fast.

Good luck on your project, seems like you've got a lot of work to do!

New Plugs(NGK Racing)/Wires/Thermostat/Rad Caps/ O2 Sensor/NewRad Hoses
Mazda dealer

New Battery w/ New Terminals/ Battery cover for security
Car audio shop for terminals, (like audi video unlimited), battery: Mopac

Clean Injectors/Intercooler/Oil Cooler
diesel shop for the injectors, rad shop for the IC and OC

Check All Electrical/Fuel Pulsation Damper/Fuel lines
do it yourself, use dealer parts

Install Ground Kit/Hose Kit
Don't bother with a ground kit; they're worhtless. Fix the stock grounds. Hose kit: order some silicone lines yourself from MOPAC.

Degrease and clean up engine bay
Degreaser from walmart, hose and a brush at the local do-it yourself car wash.

Change All Fluids/Filters(Tranny,Brake,Steering,Engine,Rad,Wiper,Dif f)
Walmart for generic brand fluids, mopac/lorco for name-brand synthetics.

Delete Airpump/Rats Nest/Emmisions/AC
do it yourself.

Dual alt pulley
Order online.

Electric Fan
Black magics are available from mopac, lordco and canadian tire, KMS tools sells Zirgo 16" fans for $160 cdn.

Full 80mm Turbo Back; RB 80mm Downpipe
Eunos Custom in Vancouver can order you the RB stuff at the cdn equivalent of the US cost.

Wrap up all components with thermo tape were needed
Wrap available from mopac, or lordco.

Port Internal WasteGate, Get Machined/Weld large flapper
Any local machine shop

Cone filter installed in front bumper away from immediate moisture
Do it yourself with a K&N from lordco/mopac, pipe from a diesel shop,

Aluminum intake piping/ wrap with heat reflective tape
Any metal supplier for the steel, take it to your welder, refelctive tape from lordco or mopac.

HKS Sequential BOV
mopac/lordco.

Full Urethane Bushing Kit
mopac/lordco
Tokico 5-way adjustable Struts
mopac/lordco
RB Lowering sprigs
eunos custom
Grease up all suspension parts
These cars don't have greasable joints. You would grease the poly bushings at install, with the supplied grease.
Matching stress bars. Front upper/lower and rear bars(corksport)
If you want corksport, buy from them.

Brembo X-Drilled/Slotted Rotors, SS lines, EBC Green Stuff Pads
mopac/lordco

Rebuild Calipers and paint Gloss black, Tighten up E-Brake
Mazda dealer for calipers, get them powdercoated wherever is local, ebrake should need no parts.

[b]Check/Lube/Fix all links and connective mechanisms[b]
Dunno what parts you plan on checking and fixing. I guess you could remove, de-rust, coat, and reinstall all of the suspension bolts.

short shifter
Online, from the states.

H4 headlight housing w/ bright *** bulbs
Bosch H4 housings are available from Lordco/mopac/canadian tire. Bulbs: lordco/mopac.

Just because you live in canada, it doesn't mean things are any more expensive. Mopac is just as cheap, and sometimes cheaper, than summit racing. Lordco... typically more expensive, sometimes by a very large margin. Canadian Tire I avoid like the plague, but the H4 housings are decently priced there.

Eunos is great for their service and RB parts.

And for all You Yanks who are about to complain about me recommending the dealer for parts: Canadian Mazda parts department is one of the cheapest places to get stock parts. You can pretty much take any price on Mazdatrix, convert it straight across to canadian dollars, including tax, and then subtract a few bucks. Example: a set of stock apex seals is $313 USD on Mazdatrix. I think I paid $306 Canadian, taxes included, for the last full set I bought.

I say goto the Internet. It usually has massive amounts of parts

I find wheel acid works great with degreasing engines. Much better then store bought engine degreaser.

Please read this first before buying an electric fan

I didn't mean yanks as a derogatory term. In fact, I don't even know if it is one. If so, lemme know. I always figured "Yankees" just referred to Americans, just as "Canucks" refers to Canadians. I certainly don't take offence to Canucks.

Is Yank a bad word to you yanks?

Something to read before choosing silicone hose for your vacuum lines: http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/G...5/hosetest.pdf

And why buy a brand new fan for $150+ when you can get a perfectly-good used Fiero fan for $30-$50?

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=29465

An extra note about Flex-a-lite fans if you choose to buy one -> they are loud as ****. A local guy used to have an FB with one and you couldn't talk over it when it kicked in. Even with the hood down.

Buying stuff from the US isn't too bad if you can get them to ship it via the post office. Avoid UPS like the plague, their fees are rediculous.

Lordco's prices are good if you can put it on a corporate account (they'll give large discounts). My dad always puts stuff on the company account (pay it when you buy it) and gets over a 50% discount on some things, usually 30% or more.

Yeah, most of that stuff you can get at Lordco, just use a good account with 30-40% off, the rest you can check the classified section here for good deals and like the above poster said, try to get it shipped by USPS cus they won't charge brokerage fees (Or much if any). Bring her down to Victoria once you get it Ben, I wanna see it

You want a e-fan that has a low running amp rating and high CFM rating. OEM fans usually run at 20+ amps. Which would certainly strain the stock s4 or s5 alternator.

To Northerners, somewhat. It's similar to saying Jap instead of Japanese is the best I can think of. Not really a racial slur, but not polite.

I'm sure Southerners would take special offense, however, since they're not Yankees.

Other than small lightweight parts, DHL is by far the cheapest way to ship. For the small stuff use USPS.
As for parts, the detailed listed on the first page was pretty good. I personally get plus from advance auto. You can also get them from Icemark (www.mazdamark.com) for 4 bucks a pop, which is better than pretty much anywhere else.
If you do racing (auto-x, scca stuff, etc) then the cheapest place for anything Mazda is www.mazdamotorsports.com You have to send in 2 racing results first, though, or prove that you are building a race car that isn't running at the moment. There are more detailed directions on the site.
Also, where at Lordco and Mopac located? I've never even heard of them, other than a highway know as Mopac in Austin.

sorry I wont send USPS for canada because paypal WILL NOT insure u if the payment gets rejected.. I should know I sold a tuen up kit to a canada guy and after they fronted him the money his bank was declined and they pulled the money from my account SINCE the tracking number is only valid to customs through USPS they would not cover me and I was out the 135.00 + the parts...

I will ONLY ship ups or fed ex or dhl into canada

British Columbia, Canada. They are local parts/racing products suppliers.

The Lordco "Account" is a joke. I got the exact same price on a brake master cylinder from lordco two months ago as another owner got using the "bc rotary 30% discount" and that a local mechanic got using his 40% business discount.
All they do is jack up the original price so it looks like they're cutting you a deal, and it doesn't make a lick of difference if "you know a guy who works there, and he always gives you a killer deal".
Mopac's pricing is always better than the lordco account discount anyway... just don't ever order a borla catback from them. Paid a deposit, waited two months, every week hearing "It'll ship next week". Finally got my deposit back and then ordered and received it in 4 days from summit.\

If I order from the states, I have parts shipped to a PO box in Washington, 5 minutes across the border (sumas, WA). I then just drive 10 minutes to pick it up, and pay the applicable taxes at the canadian border. Shipping is cheaper, faster, and there's no duty.
