Like many many of us, the AC in both my FC's were removed.
1 by me, (who needs AC if I only drive it with the top down?) and 1 by the owner before me.

My question is, are there FC's straight from the factory without AC?
I've been looking for awhile now for a climate control unit without the AC button, (an OCD of mine)

Should I stop looking, or are they out there?

 

some did come without a/c but youll find that the a/c button was still on the panel.

Mine did! 86 n/a super base model, didnt even come with phone dial wheels!

 

But you have an AC button anyways, right?

What did it have? What is lower than phone dials, hubcaps, steelys?

 

Yes the AC button is there. Every FC has the AC button.

It came with silver steelies!

 

Wrong, the climate control boxes without the AC button do exist. How do i know? I have one extra laying around. I will post a pic soon.

 

Wrong, ive had two fc's both with no a/c both with no button.

 

Here is a pic. I believe they do not have this in the US. Its only on euro-spec cars and mostly on UK cars if i am not mistaken

ohh wow never seen the controls with out ac,

in the USA cars without ac the ones ive seen havethe ac button but a black sticker covering the logo/light
