Went to the track today :)

Hey everyone, got to run my car today I am pretty pleased with the results.

I ran a best of 13.973@101.33, 2.201 60 foot time. This was on my 205 street tires with 33psi in them.

The car is running very consistent; I have 9 timeslips between 14.06 and 13.9, all between 100 and 101 mph. 6 of these are 14.00X.

Something weird with the track today, seems no one could hook up. All the times were pretty slow, with high mph; my times are a mild example. I think if the temperature dropped down to 60 degrees or colder, and I threw on some slicks, that mid-low 13's would come pretty easy.

Keep in mind that the car isn't tuned at all, still running pretty rich.

I won second place in the Beater class, lost to the infamous Turbo Shadow. Yeah, little POS Dodge . Ive seen it run high twelves. In the final round, It ran a 13.717@107.15 to my 14.058@101.1. I had it out of the hole with a 2.1 60 foot and a .57 reaction time, but it had 5 mph on me by the end of the 1/8th.

Ive got pretty much all the basic mods:
3" TF DP/MP
3" Corksport catback
3"TID
cone filter
205 Kuhmo 712 tires
walbro fuel pump
720cc secondaries
S-AFC (not tuned)
typical gauges (EGT, Boost, etc)
Jacobs wires
Stock plugs
NO SUSPENSION MODS (damn wheelhop)
Stock turbo, hitting 12-13 lbs at the top of 4th
KnightSports FCD

1989 Turbo II

Just thought id share

Later,
Jameson
