went to the strip tonight
New best time:
60 2.283
330 5.986
1/8 8.940
mph 84.4
1000 11.484
1/4 13.61
mph 105.6
I still have worn shocks so I can't do a burnout. My launch strategy was a 3200 slight slip. boost was set with my mbc at .9bar I'm still on the stock injectors and didn't trust them nor the stock timing at that boost pressure so I was running a mix of 93 and 104. Soon I'll have bigger injectors in tuned on a wideband and probably retard timing a couple degrees.
I guess I'm on the brink of the potential of these mods. I can get a faster et for sure, but I don't think I'll be able to trap but a mph or 2 higher with a front mount. I'm starting to look at diffferent options for controlling the ecu. My power goal is 300 rwhp. I really was considering checking out the elp ecu. I've noticed a few guys running hybrids have them and I was wondering if I could get any input on that. Even if I still have to use the safc to control fuel with 4 x 720 injectors it would be worth it to get timing values for boost pressures over stock fuel cut.

You were one of the people I recalled having similar mods to what I'll end up doing. Is the HI-6 ignition adjustable, or did you just want a better ignition than stock? I know elp adjusts the ignition timing and I doubt I'll ever exceed the capabilities of the stock 2bar pressure sensor.
Haha, I was going to say the track but then the autox and roadrace ****'s would remind me a drag strip is not a 'track'. As far as vegas goes, I'm still not old enough to gamble

I was on azeni's all the way around, but missed a tire rotation and the rears turned to slicks. I'm on generic all seasons on the back right now so they leave a little to be desired as far as grip goes. My rear shocks are completely shot so I can't dump the clutch or I get violent wheel hop that could only be conjured up from the depths of hell. With a 2.0 that's low 13's with the same trap speed.
