Went road racing last weekend; times
I crew for a guy at a local track and once a year they let the family members and crew race on the track. Here's my times (I'm the first one):

Let us know when you want to do it, sounds like a good time and a low price! Hopefully I won't kill the engine like last weekend @ Mosport.

I would say expect very few Canadians. Most of the Canadians are big weinnies when it comes to going to a track day. $100 and a few hours of driving to have the time of your life, for some reason that goes over like a lead balloon. I'm not exactly sure what's wrong with them. I think to keep warm in the cold, people resort to insest (and we all know insest is best). Unfortunately people who are the results of these illicite deeds buy RX-7s.

People in the Canadian forum have been generally disinterested in track stuff, even when it's close to home. The way some of these guys drive their cars, there's no way that's the main concern. I stand by my generalization. I prod in the hopes maybe someone will step up.
Just so you know me blowing my engine was probably mostly my fault. When the compression was tested last year, the front rotor was perfect, rear less so. It was suggested to me that possible past j-spec abuse, combined with that pellet issue, mixed with me thinking my engine was invincible and cruising on the staights @ 7k+ so I could concentrate on my corners without downshifting/going too fast. The leason is that the redline is the redline.

I love the track. There's no cops to surprise you and make you feel like you just relocated your stomach into your trachea.
I went to Mosport for a session, but never again. At least not in my current car. I'd love to get a TII though, gut it, FCD and screw the boost way up. I could blow extra fuel into the engine via a spliced line and a straw from my mouth I guess. Anyway, last time I went my fekin' battery leaked it's love juice all over my inner fender from the cornering forces. Now the paint is all pitted and marred. I was just looking at the full impact of the damage today actually, it's horrid. Geez, I wanna engage in fits of rage!
It's cool to see a girl rippin' up the track. That's dead sexy.
