Well race pipe is ordered. Any opinions on them?

Well I decided that the first mod will be a Bonez Race Pipe. I figure that the car has a lot of miles on it and the cats probably haven't been clean so instead of replacing them, I'll just remove them. Hopefully that'll free up some power for me and give the car a louder exhaust note than what it has currently.. Guess people with n/a's and the Race pipes could give a better review on what they thought of the race pipes.

I have one.. it fits perfect...... i didnt install it untill i had the money for a cat back aswell.... but i would recomend getting a cone intake... it is well worth it.. you wont feel the full extent of the exhaust with out one... dont worry about the cold air box.... just make one when you have time. so yeah... take off the stock air box thats my advice

Yo,
I've got the Bonez race pipe. Kicks ***. But before you get it, get the flange of the stock exhaust manifold ground down. I've got a nasty leak between the 2

Hey, im with you I havent really heard what kind of gains you get from JUST the pipe. I am thinking thats the next thing I'll do to my TII but I dont want to promote boost creep. Anyway let me know how it feels when you get it on. -Evan

I had the bonez race pipe. It fits perfect and great quality. Awsome sound to and easy to swich out for when smog comes. BUT it will not give you as much power as a header. I guess the power is noticable and it does increase reliability and keep noise down but I made 13rwp by swaping it out with headers. I had alot of mods though so this gain wont be as noticable on a stock car with just intake/exaust... With the bonez I made 144rwp with the mods listed except the streetport , tb and clutch.
