Well, I've found me leak....

I cleaned some dirty areas in search for my oil leak and found the origin. It looks like it is at the oil cooling lines going into the motor. I'm not positive if this is correct but as far as I can tell based on pictures and opinions thats where its happening. So now I am not sure if the rebuild that I was assuming needed to be done is necessary. My friend said he will tighten the lines for me (im not so mechanically competent, so im not sure exactly how he is going to do this or if it will help) but hasnt had time to do it yet. Any suggestions on this problem?

Also, the car seems to make weird sounds when using the clutch. At idle it sounds a bit rough almost. Then when i engage the clutch it sounds more smooth. Clutch in = smooth. Clutch out = kinda choppy sounding. Not sure exactly what to do about that because i havent been driving the car since the oil leak occured. I dont recall this sound happening when i drove it before, so Im thinking maybe its just something to do with the car being cold.

Regardless, I have not been able to find anyone in my area (close to San Francisco in California) that will diagnose my car so I have been forced to contact the dealer.

Anything you guys can advise on this list of problems would be awesome.

Thanks

highly doubtful the leak is related to the smoking issue from the exhaust, but the lines are known for sealing issues after many years of use. also no idea how your friend is going to tighten the lines because they leaks are almost always from the crimps due to old weakened rubber.

the lines can be bought new from the dealer(pricey), aftermarket SS lines made by a number of aftermarket sources or you can take the original lines to a local hose shop and have them rebuilt for less than any of the other options. the rebuilt lines just don't look as flashy as the stainless braided lines.
