Well, apparently.. someone deleted my thread... RE: Car dead - more questions....

Ok... the night before, a friend and I went to a nearby "park" area to do a few skid marks / spin tires type deal....

Now... by spinning the tires... would it cause anything in the engine to break? Like.. .that back bearing on the engine, would it cause it to break, and damage other things within the engine?

From other thread: What should I do?

Wel I don't think you could get near 1k for a dead car even in perfect condition. Unless you stick it out for that special buyer.

I can get a working N/a for 800 dollars and all I have to do is wait for the tittle. Everything including tax tittle and all that junk is taken care of for me. 1k for no engine and all that other trouble wouldn't be bery appealing.

Well, I found a $800 wreck 'vert that I'll be calling soon and asknig him how is the engine, much less body, and if it's able to run.

$800 for the car/motor. Think it's a good deal?

I dont think anyone deleted your posts, I think its because they are migrating the forum to a new server.

Nobody is out to get you!...

And if the engine is good, as in LOW miles.. ITs worth 800.

It depends on what's caused it to seize. If it's a launched apex seal, or a tension bolt that's come out, or carbon. Either way, you're not going to damage it anymore than it already would be

Christi-have you ever been to laredo? there was and still IS an 86 base model for sale here. They wanted 800 with TT and L for it. It hase some minor detals but over all I would think you could use it to fix your car.

Dunno if you would want to go throug all the trouble though. Just a thought

That is not the thread I was talking about. I should have reworded myself better, but I was in a hurry before my college's computer room closed.

When I quoted that one post, I was replying to his post - instead of bringing up an old thread, and making a new one, as well.

Talking about spinning the tires / sliding around doing a bit of drifts was a totally different thread that either got deleted and/or moved when the new servers hit.

Nope. The fact that DFW is a 10-hour drive from El Paso doesn't do me any good (when i'm there).

If that 86 base is still up for sale, let me know. I'll inform my fiancee to see if he can get some details on it. Silly question, but what is TT and L?

Tax Tittle and License. Meaning you give them 800 dollars they hand you the keys and you will get the registration in the mail. No other fees
