Well after almost 8 months it fires up tomorrow. PICS also Koyo S5 rad in a S4

I got my 10th anniversary edition about 8 months or so ago. $5000+ dollars later and here it is just about done! I will be firing it up tomorrow. I just have a couple of things yet to hook up. Mods are in my Sig. Not all mods are installed right now, I have to pass smog, so this is a bone stock setup right now except for the radiator, clutch, street port, ECU, secondary injectors and a Hybrid Turbo. I rebuilt this myself, turned every bolt & screw with my own hands,... I have paid a fortune in parts but not a penny in labor. I even did my own street port.

Wish my luck,
And thanks for all the help everyone.

Dyno slips come out as soon as the smog check is over ... and the break in period is done. .. can't freakin wait!

$398 for the Koyo Rad (including Tax & shipping) I think its the best on the market myself. It's not supposed to fit a S4 turbo, but it did (as you can see) anything is possible I had to fabricate the mounts for it ... but it looks like its going to work great. I already filled it up with Prestone/water wetter/Distiled Water. No leaks
... but no pressure yet either

Haha Rob, I'm in the exact same place, but I think a day behind. Mine went down 7 months ago, and I probably won't fire it up til Saturday, and only because parts were backordered and will be here tomorrow. I've spent probly $4000, but haven't bought the radiator yet (coincidentally, im getting the Koyo as well). All the work was done by myself as well, with the exception of the engine, because mine was beyond rebuildability because of housing damage, so I bought a rebuilt. Oh, and I repainted it myself so beat that

Good luck, and I hope it fires right up!

Now that I look at it it does look like you painted it. Seeing as AE's aint black.

Oh well. I did it in 7, you took 8. So there.

Hey Robert, got my Koyo in yesterday, I'll be putting it in this weekend I grabbed a set of S5 brackets from PNP, the bolt holes measure up, so I'm hoping that's all I will need.

Hell, I'm at work I won't get to finish her & fire her until about 7pm PST. I will post the happeneings shortly after though.

Right on silk, I just drilled new holes about 3/4" towards the engine to get the S4 mounts on ... and I made my own mount for the top pasenger side. Let me know how thet S5 rack works out ... Mine is in there solid as can be .. but if I ever take it out .. i might put on the S5 rack if it works out for you.
