Unhappy Weird tranny related problem!! Experts needed!

The car:
- 14x,xxx miles on drivetrain except engine
- competition motor mounts
- Good Clutch (grabs very well)
- Lucas Gear oil replaced a week ago (normal amount of shavings on magnetic plug. no gear chunks.)
- New shifter bushings
- New clutch slave cylinder & fluid
- full exhaust & some fuel mods

The problem:
The tranny does a weird grinding sound, more like a vibration, about 50% of the time when shifting hard from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd. If I drive the car like a grandma, the tranny shifts perfect all the time. Sometimes when I'm redlining the car, it shifts perfect all the time but other times it does that weird grinding/vibration sound and wont go into gear at all.

When I got the car, the clutch pedal always felt weird. I can feel a type of rubbing when Im pressing & releasing the clutch. The pedal doesnt feel smooth like all my other FCs. I replaced the clutch slave cylinder thinking that was my problem but its still there. I also tried adjusting the pedal but the problem is still there.

Could the Clutch Master Cylinder be causing my weird pedal feeling and shifting problems? Bad tranny maybe?

Thanks

I would try rebuilding or buying a new clutch master cylinder. It sounds like your clutch isnt disengaging all the way only other thing I can think of is a bad u-joint maybe?

1) Master cylinder.
2) Some air still in the line - rebleed.
3) Old soft rubber line.

The clutch line was bled a million times and the rubber line is almost new.

I'll try the master cylinder and hope it fixes my problem. I'll update this thread when I install it.
