Question weird tach question - weak need not apply

ok, i am curious to know what voltage range the FC tach uses. some of the engine sensors are like 0-5v ranges and some are 0-12v, ect. If anyone knows that would help a lot. if not i will just tap into it with a multi-meter and check.
