Weird T2 Hesitation
Weird T2 Hesitation
ive been having an odd hesitation with my s5 t2...
when im on the throttle (not too much, 75% or higher) ill get a weird bog, kind of like fuel cut (not fuel cut, FCD installed and working). I am thinking that it is the omp putting me into limp mode for a second. it only lasts about 1 second.
anyone experience this? whats the fix on a series 5? i know all about premix, but will that fix anything?

Check the codes. It doesnt sound like the OMP, if it was you'd know and the CEL would pop up and be stored on the ECU until reset. There is no known fix for the S5 OMP code and you cant ditch it so it has to be replaced.

its really pissing me off... only things i can think of are limp mode and fuel cut, but neither make any sense in this situation.
i met a guy at the track last week who races rx7's and he said it sounded like the oil pump wasnt working as fast as the engine under boost, and it cuts until it catches up...
its not a complete limp mode, just for about one second, then it kicks back in
