Weird Problems with RX7
undefinedundefinedundefined I have a 1989 mazda rx7 with a 6port 13b s5 with approxiametly 60k on rebuild. The car was given to me about two weeks ago. At first the car would not start and I determined the fuel pump would not work. I replaced the fuel pump with a new unit and the car started on the first start and idled with no problems. i went and strated the car everday for 4 or 5 days and would let it warm up. At the time the weather was in the high sixtys or low seventys. After I have picked up the car and brought it home it will not start for me now. Now the weather has changed and it hasnt been above 40 in the last week. i checked the plugs and they seem to be firing correctly but the car seems as though it is flooding majorly. Also i can smell the raw fuel from the exhaust pipe. Also i noticed a small humming sound from around the fuel injectors. I know the car has good fuel because i filled it up with 93 octane from chevron while bringing the car home. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be wrong.

I have an 85 that I'm selling because of the latter problem that you have (i checked the plugs and they seem to be firing correctly but the car seems as though it is flooding majorly. Also i can smell the raw fuel from the exhaust pipe.). The guy who rebuilt the engine (12a) says I shouldn't sell it because it is still good, but we tested the compression and found none,
