Well, I was gonna take my buddy for a spin, and we drove down the road and it died. It would start for a little but die in a split second. We put 4 gallons of gas, and it started. On the way back it drove good, but died again when i started to slow down. My fuel pump is running off the battery, so I check every connectionand rewire again. It starts and we drive a bit and it dies again when coming to a stop. Then it has that problem again. Starts up but dies in a split second. I try starting with WOT, and it starts. We take it out and I floor it to 6000 rpm on 1st and 2nd and about 5500 on 3rd and 4th, and it pulls hella strong. then I start to slow down, and everything is good as can be and have no trouble getting back. It seems like it dies only when I stop pushing gas, and would start when I have it at WOT. I think it might be the fuel filter, because when I do WOT it starts good and it seems like the fuel pressure would break through all the clogged stuff, but when its off and the pressure goes down, I think that maybe it gets clogged there. Thats my guss. If not, maybe the pump is going bad. Let me know what you guys think.

 

you always have constant pressure at the fuel rail. maybe your pump is going bad. hook up a fuel pressure gauge and take it for a spin and find out
