S4 NA...NA intakes...or not?

I have a 1988 GTU...and am currently having Tofuball port my S5 NA intake manifolds for me. However, with that setup, I will have aux ports, VDI, a bunch of rigged-up setup for an airpump/vac lines to run it all, and will need to tune for the sudden bursts of air as the RPM goes thru.

I also happen to have an S5 T2 LIM, and FD UIM laying around...and, my interest has been set upon this. I know the runners are mega-shorter, and the manifolds will flow a LOT more. Also, having the intake go on the cold side of the engine bay seems neat...I could mount a filter directly on the TB adapter, for awesome throttle response.

My question is...any experience, anyone? I'm at a crosshair, Tofuball hasn't ported my S5's yet, I could have him port these manifolds instead...help!
