Weird problem s4tii

So i was driving home yesterday doing about 55, then i noticed the needle on my boost gauge seemed a bit..bouncy. If i was on the throttle at all it bounced around 2-3 pounds and acceleration was weaker than usual. I pulled into a parking lot, and when i pushed in the clutch, rpm's dropped and died. Tried to crank it again, but wouldnt start, so i figured probly popped the intercooler piping off again (stock topmount). Nope, everythings connected, found no vac leaks. Rolled in reverse down a hill popped the clutch and started. Drove home without ever letting the rpms drop, died in the driveway again. Came insided, searched the forums. AFM - good, poor mans compression test sounded ok, i can smell fuel. Its doing what seems like it always did when the intercooler popped off but all hoses are good. ...cant be the actual intercooler, could it?

Oh another thing, tried to crank with a fuel cut switch turned off, then when flipped on, actually sounded worse. Thought it was flooded, but still wont crank when the switch is off.

eh, help?

Anybody i tested my tps and it is within spec. The car cannot hold a idle and if you can get it to start it is missing bad and has no power. Tried the maf too no luck spark plugs are like new less than 1000 miles. It just happened while i was driving not racing it or anything was running fine one minute than just had no power has like a gargling sound to it like small back fires at low rpms. I really doubt it is a loss of compression because when i first bought the car it ran on one rotor and this runs nothing like that.

I guess the intercooler could have cracked somewhere. Fill it with compressed air and see if you hear or feel a leak. Did you check the TID(Turbo Inlet Duct) for cracks? You sure the fuel pump is good...it could be pumping fuel, but not pumping enough. How about your fuel filter? How about your air filter? Hope one of those helps. Where in Alabama do you live btw?

I really do not mean to thread jack nineteen83rx7 i did bump it up because we have the same problem and i was searching and really do not like to start new threads. I dont know if nineteen83rx7 checked all of those but my fuel filter isnt that old and my fuel pump works but dont know about the pressure. Dont think it is a boost or vaccum leak getting good reading on both and checked the air filter and all. Really stumping me have had so many problems and this is the one that is stumping me the most
