Weird problem

When i turn the key it "clicks" and no start. Sometimes it will start after a few turns of the key but somtimes it takes like 15 minutes. The battery reads 12 volts. I even hooked up a charger and it read 14 volts and did the same thing. Just tonight when it did this the starter sounded like it was grinding then it finaly went and turned over the motor.

Also the motor turns over very slow and takes a while to fire up. Anyone know anything??

Edit: bad ground mabey?

oh sorry one click then might be an ignition switch on the way out. that happend to me would not start, would not start, finally after a bunch of trouble shooting I found out it was the ignition switch. It was just he pig tail part that goes into all the other wires so I got it for like 15 bucks through here. Any one of the 2nd gens will fit. Hope this helps.
