So I went out to Advance Auto to get rid of my old oil. Anyways, on the way back, Im approaching the speed bump by my house and I came up on at like 45mph, so Im on the brakes to slow down for the speed bump, and right as Im nearly stopped I hear this creeking/squeeking noise coming from the front end, maybe even heard a small clunk or two. Any ideas of what that could have been.

Well I just did some searching and it seems that the ball joints in an s5 very rarely wear out...

 

Anyone? Im supposed to drive 12 hours to MA and I dont want some catestrophic(SP?) failure to happen.

 

Well I took the car for a drive, no noises. I guess my car just likes to scare me.

 

FC's sqeak. they just do idk why. these cars are pretty old lol. But i love them.
